WHERE DO WE SHOOT?

 
 

Black Point trail: Narragansett, ri

This unique location is a great option for Summer Photos, without the typical beach look. It’s got large flat rocks, unique landscapes, and amazing ocean views. This is a great backdrop for any type of session. It’s also has grassy paths so you get a little bit of everything. Dogs are welcome here as well!

  • PROS: Scenic Ocean Views, Unique Landscape, Beach Feel but no sand, Dogs are allowed

  • CONS: Not recommended for Handicapp indivuduals

DOUG RAYNER WILDLIFE REFUGE

If you are looking for something woodsy with large fields of tall grass, unique trees, but also has a beach front, Doug Rayner is a great option. Located in Seekonk, MA it’s a really private refuge and rarely do we see anyone else here.

  • PROS: Woodsy, Large Fields, Tall Grass, Small Beach Front

  • CONS: Not very Scenic Views, Dogs are not allowed

CARATUNK WILDLIFE REFUGE

Similar to Doug Rayner, Caratunk is a great option in Seekonk, MA for a woodsy photoshoot, it has an adorable wooden bridge with a creek running under it and is a great spot for a daytime shoot as it provides lots of shade.

  • PROS: Woodsy, Large Fields, Tall Grass, Wooden Bridges with Creeks

  • CONS: No Scenic Views, Dogs are not allowed

  • Special Permission is needed to shoot here, so advanced notice is required.

Touisset Marsh Wildlife Refuge

This beautiful backdrop is more minimalist, with flat open river views and a unique bridge. It’s great for a unique backdrop with less backdrounds.

  • PROS: Woodsy, Flat Wide River Views, Unique Bridge

  • CONS: Dogs not allowed, Not a lot of Greenery or Flowers

CHASE FARM: Lincoln, ri

Chase Farm is amazing backdrop for Fall Photos. It is the go to spot for Fall Family Photos, however I usually only shoot here on weekdays evenings, as it can get extremely over crowded.

  • PROS: Gorgeous Fall Colors

  • CONS: Very Busy in the Fall, Lots of Events to compete with so scheduling can be a bit hard

SMALL BEACH IN BARRINGTON, RI

I love this beach because no one is ever here! It’s really hidden with only three parking spots. You have to hit it at low tide to discover and access all the best parts

  • PROS: Private and Relaxing, Dogs Allowed

  • CONS: Only recommend shooting during a Low Tide Day

 

Kinney Azalea Gardens

This hidden gem in RI is a great spot if you are hoping for some beautiful greenery and florals in your photos.

  • PROS: Private and Relaxing, Florals and lots of greenery, beautiful stone backdrop.

  • CONS: Must get permission ahead of time to do photos here

Blithewold Manor, Gardens & Arboretum

This beautiful estate sits on 33 acres of land and offers multiple backdrops for gorgeous photography. It has a wildflower garden, tulip field, small beach, Japanese garden, Pond, Hugely Tall Trees, and a Historical Building all on the property.

  • PROS: Multiple Backdrop Options, One of a Kind Backdrops

  • CONS: Must get permission ahead of time to do photos here. $100 Site Fee will be added to any All Inclusive Session taking place here. Dogs are not allowed.
